Another in the series of drawings of objects from the Museum London archives. The myriad scratches and marks are a subtle record of this meat grinder’s use. At one time, every household had one of these objects as an essential tool in the preparation of food. It would have been part of the everyday life as well as the celebrations of the family that owned it.
