The Concession Stand on Torcello
oil on canvas, 30″ x 40″ Visit Torcello if you get the chance. Venice, just 20 minutes away by vaporetto, is wonderful but can be exhausting. Torcello is ancient and beautiful and quiet. This painting is a studio interpretation based on my “plein air” sketch on the island.
